Regular descaling of your espresso machine is important for optimal coffee taste. Limescale can cause the water temperature to drop, resulting in a higher acidity of your espresso.
In addition, the amount of water flowing through the pipes is limited and can even be completely blocked, which significantly affects the performance of the machine.
Application: Please always follow the device manufacturer's instructions for descaling for all types of appliances!
Instructions for use for fully automatic coffee machines and espresso machines without an automatic descaling program:
1. Completely dissolve the contents of the bag (50 g) with 1 litre of warm water (max. 50 °C).
2. Switch on the appliance and drain 2 cups of water through the steam wand (if not available, through the hot water nozzle) (approx. 150 ml each).
3. Turn off the device.
4. Leave the descaling solution on for 15-20 minutes.
5. Perform step 2 until descaling solution in the water tank is completely used up.
6. After descaling, rinse the tank with tap water.
Then rinse the machine with one or two tank fillings of tap water.
